My name is Steve Corbett, I’ve been fishing out of Gloucester, MA.for over 25 years. I created the ChumCutter to make our days out fishing a lot easier.

As most of you know fishing for tuna and bass is all about hours of chumming, watching the fish finder and more chumming. Cutting bait is mostly the mate’s job and I would rather him concentrate on the chumming rather than cutting.

The ChumCutter helps solve that collision of efforts by allowing you to cut a 5 gallon bucket of bait in about 3 minutes. This is a fraction of the time it usually takes by hand.

I developed this initially for herring, but it works for all kinds of bait like butterfish, mackerel, menhaden, mullet, etc…

Any time saved on the water is invaluable – and seriously, it makes things a lot easier on your mate.
